Thomas John Cull, age 87,of Hartland, passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Tom was born July 19, 1925 in the Town of Delafield, to Earl and Anna (nee Murphy) Cull. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Stoks on September 16, 1947 in Minnesota.
Tom was a retired farmer and dug graves for 60 years.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy of 65 years; children James (Sharon), Patricia (Gary) Clark, Donald (Debra), Maureen (Tom) Hilger, Elaine (Ray) Parpart, JoAnne Cull, Diane (Alan) Sleaper, Steven (Dell Renee), Timothy (Diane) Kenneth (Julie) and Robert (Staci) Cull; daughter-in-law Paula Cull: 29 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. Tom is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He loved his family and will be dearly missed.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Janice, son Kevin, and all his siblings.
Mass of Christian Burial for Tom will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta in Monches with Fr. Bill Stanfield officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at the Shimon Funeral Home from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service held at 6:30 p.m. There will be additional visitation at the church on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. mass. Interment at St. John Cemetery in Monches.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Blessed Teresa of Calcutta or the charity of one's choice are appreciated.
