Mr. Walker was born Sept. 23, 1932, in Portland. He was a Realtor for many years before becoming a developer and a builder. He lived in Bend since 1993.
Walker served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He belonged to the Portland Swing Club and enjoyed raising Arabian horses and hunting. He graduated from Franklin High School and Portland State University.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Wray of Redmond and Kristin Stump of Powell Butte; a son, Michael Walker of Terrebonne; a stepson, Daren Martin of Corbett; two sisters, Doreen Wheeler of Tenino, Wash., and Betty Holmes of Sherwood; several nieces and nephews; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, two sisters and a step-son.
