He was a retired blacksmith and a member of the Temple Baptist Church.
Surviving are five sons, Roy Morgan, Walter Morgan, Lindon Morgan, and Joe Morgan, all of Dermott, and Marvin Morgan of Sacramento, Califorina, a daughter, Mrs Emogene Griffin of McGehee; two brothers, Henry Morgan of Conway and Hughie A. Morgan of Guy; two sisters, Mrs Bertha Deavers of Oklahoma and Mrs Ada Davis of Little Rock; 32 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at Temple Baptist Church.
Rev Jody Gannaway officiating. Burial was at Dermott Cemetery.
