He was born Sept. 10, 1931, at Riceville, a son of Edward and Annabelle Pratt Baker.
He served two-year hitches with the Army and Navy between 1948 and 1952. He was a member of McGuffintown EUB Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Mae Barr Baker; two children, Pauline Ann and Roy Matthew, at home; his mother, Mrs. Annabelle Baker of Meadville, RD3; three sisters, Mrs. Walter J. Luikart of Meadville, Mrs. C. B. Bacon of Sharpsville, and Miss Kathryn Baker of Meadville, RD 3, and two brothers, Gordon F. of Meadville, RD 3, and Edward M. with the U.S. Air Force at Dayton, O.
Friends may call at the Kennedy Funeral Home in Meadville where the funeral service will be held at 2 p. m. Sunday. Interment will be at Riceville Cemetery.
