CHURCH SHE HELPED ORGANIZE TO BE SCENE OF PIONEER'S RITES: Funeral services for Mrs. W.T. Hardy, 76, of 1323 King's Highway, a resident of Dallas sixty years, who died at a local hospital Thursday, will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the Kessler Methodist Church, which she helped to organize. The Rev. W.C. Clements, pastor and Dr. H.A. Butts of Kaufman, will officiate. Burial will be in Little Bethel Cemetery.

Mrs. Hardy, the former Miss Sarah Frances Beard, was born near Warms Springs Georgia, June 24, 1864 and studied at Ran College in Georgia. In 1878, she moved with her family to Dallas. She taught in the public schools here until 1880 when she was married to W. F. Hardy. Their home was made then on the present site of S.M.U. She was active in church work for many years, helped to organize the Kessler Park church and held offices in its societies. She was especially active in the Missionary Society and the Sunday School and at the time of her death was teacher of the Mother's Class.

Surviving are three sons, Owen Hardy, Alf Hardy and Allie Hardy of Dallas; daughters, Mrs. W.B. Young, Mrs. Dewey Banks, all of Dallas.
