d/o William Leazenby Alkire & Ary (or Erie) Ann Toothman. Most researchers have her first name as Rozella, but headstone says Rosella. She married Martin W. Slater July 6, 1887 Butler, Bates, MO. Most everryone knew her by nickname of "Dill" and some in later years as "Rosa."

note: one researcher says she died in Bedford IA. She must have as there is no Missouri death certificate for her.

from another researcher: Census records show she was born in 1872 (June 6th). She could have died in Bedford, Iowa... she used to live on Route 1 back in 1958.
