T. C. Peterson Funeral Set Here Tuesday
The funeral of Truman C. Peterson, 87, of 1109 4th St. S., Fargo, resident of the city 38 years, will be at 2, Tuesday in Hanson-Runsvold Chapel.
The Rev. A. M. Matar, pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Peterson died Friday.
Born at Estherville, Iowa, Jan. 5, 1871, he grew to manhood there and married Grace Valeit Ash Nov. 20, 1895. They farmed at Estherville and Watertown, S. D., until 1905 when they came to North Dakota.
After a year at Steele they moved to Streeter, residing there until coming to Fargo in 1920. Mr. Peterson was with transfer companies here until retiring nearly eight years ago.
Besides his wife he leaves three sons, Errol, at home, Arlie of 1513 13 1/2 St. S., Fargo, and Clarence of Seattle; five daughters, Mrs. Hazel Palmer, at home, Mrs. Charles (Effie) Mandler, 913 Main Ave., Moorhead, Mrs. J. J. (Lucelle) Eastman, Fergus Falls, Minn., Mrs. John (Bessie) Hanson, 404 7th Ave. S., Fargo, and Mrs. G. E. (Flora) Hochstetter, British Columbia, Canada; 23 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. Three brothers preceded him in death.
