Amanda FERREE Wilder was the second child born to David & Tirzah Bell Ferree. She had at least 4 brothers & 5 sisters. On August 12, 1842 at the age of 20 she married Barnabus H. Wilder in Fayette Co., Indiana. Amanda & Barnabus had 3 children: David, named after her father; Tirzah, named after her mother; & John H. Wilder. David & John both died in infancy. Her daughter was born in about 1849 and lived until 1925. It is probable that Amanda died in childbirth in 1849. Both of her parents died 5 years later.
