William WATTS, son of Nancy Charlotte McINTIRE and her second husband Joseph WATTS, both buried Ambrose Williams' Place, Wolf Creek, Glenmary, Scott Co, TN (though I find NO Memorial has been yet established for either).

In 1859 in Cherokee County, NC, William WATTS married Artemissa FREELAND, daughter of Zelphia CAMPBELL and Howell Eldridge FREELAND.

Children of Artemissa and William WATTS:
1. Joseph Howell WATTS, b. August 1860 Wolf Creek, Hot House Dist, Cherokee, North Carolina
2. Josephine WATTS, b. 1862 Wolf Creek, Hot House Dist, Cherokee, North Carolina

in 1867 following the death of William WATTS, Artemissa FREELAND WATTS re-married William Leander SUTTON and they settled in Oklahoma.
