Samuel Ellis Mcneal, 64, well known Concord township farmer, died at his home on Urbana R. D. 2 (State highway 54) at 5 p. m. Tuesday after a year's illness from diabetes. He was a native of Ross county, a son of Samuel A. and Eliza McNeal, natives of Virginia, and was born January 12, 1863. He had, however, lived in this locality for the past 45 years and was well and favorably known.
He is survived by three sons and five daughters, William McNeal, Raleigh, N. C.; George McNeal, Akron; Walter (son by a second marriage), at home; Mrs. Roy Zeigler, Urbana; Mrs. William Montgomery, Howell, Kan.; Mrs. Sarah Williams and Mrs. Jane Clark, West Liberty, and Mrs. Anna Hutchinson, Urbana, R. F. D. 6. He is also survived by two brothers, William , of Chillicothe, and Festus of Quincy.
Funeral services will be conducted in the late home Friday at 1:30 p.m. and burial will be made in the Concord cemetery, in charge of R. C. Gardner, undertaker.

( The obituary that was printed in the newspaper was incorrect. The second paragraph should have read "He is survived by three sons and one daughter, William McNeal, Raleigh, N. C.; George McNeal, Akron; Walter (son by a second marriage), at home; and Mrs. Roy Zeigler, Urbana. He is also survived by two brothers, William , of Chillicothe, and Festus of Quincy; and four sisters, Mrs. William Montgomery, Howell, Kan., Mrs. Sarah Williams, Mrs. Jane Clark, West Liberty, and Mrs. Anna Hutchinson, Urbana, R.
