He was a co-owner of the Gonzales Livestock Auction for 30 years and a charter member and director of American National Bank. He was a member of TSCRA and NCBA and past president of Independent Cattlemen's Association of Gonzales County.

Preceded in death by: brothers, Isam Brisco Jr. and Reginald Brisco.
