Sherry N. Allmon, 62, a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, passed away Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Tuesday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation: noon to 3 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Sherry was born Oct. 1, 1946, in Wichita Falls to Ira and Lucille Holt. She was a lifelong area resident who was a bargain shopper and loved going to garage sales. She was an electrical assembler at General Dynamics for a number or years and later operated Little Folks Resale Shop in Azle. She loved spending time with her family, especially riding motorcycles with her husband, Roger. She will be forever missed.
Survivors: Husband of 46 years, Roger D. Allmon of Azle; children, Kim Allmon of White Settlement and Lisa Allmon and husband, Mike DeWoody, of Azle; mother, Lucille Holt of Lake Worth; sisters, Priscilla Butler of Lake Worth and Judy Bass of White Settlement; brother, Charles Holt of Irving, Daniel Holt of Wyo., and Carroll Holt of Lake Fork; grandchildren, Brandon Shoemaker of North Carolina, Summer Shoemaker, Corey Mathis and George Ryan, all of Azle, Chance Ryan of Fort Worth and Chad Watson of White Settlement; and great-grandchildren, Caysin Mathis, Leigh Andra "Peanut" Ryan and Landon Ryan, all of Azle.
