Ronald Edwin Bohn, 72, Wahpeton, died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, in MeritCare Palliative Care Unit, Fargo.

Mr. Bohn was born Oct. 20, 1934, in Breckenridge, Minn. He grew up and attended school near Tyler, N.D. On Dec. 13, 1959, he married Betty Muehler. They farmed near Tyler until moving to Minneapolis for a short time. They moved near Wahpeton. He operated a maintainer and was an assessor for Summit Township. He was an equipment operator for MinnDak Farmers Cooperative for 15 years before retiring in 2002. He played in the Ron John Dual Band for five years and Country Lareodoes for 15 years.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Chris (Jody), Grandin, N.D., Ricky, Sioux Falls, S.D.; a brother, Gary (Sharon), Galchutt, N.D.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation: Thursday from 5 to 8, with a prayer service at 7, in Vertin-Munson Funeral Home, Wahpeton, and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Wahpeton.

Funeral: Friday at 10:30 in the church.

Burial: St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tyler.
