Although spelling is diferent she is listed in cemetery records as wife of Willliam Chalk, burried next to her.∼Last Saturday grandmother Chaulk received her final summons at the home of her son, William in this city. The funeral was held from the Catholic church Monday afternoon Father Dolan officiating. The services were attended by many friends of the old lady and her family. There are five living children, William, James, Jack all of this city, Mrs. Frances Burns of Alliance and Mrs. Bridget Haygreen Mrs. Chaulk was born in New Castle, West County Limerick Ireland, May 3, 1838, coming to the united Staes when a child and resided at Dubuque, Iowa in 1867, she married WM. Chaulk after which they moved to Minnesota where they resided for 40 years. of up to the time of coming to Dawes county of April of 1890 where she has since lived. Mr. Chaulk died in Dawes county 16 years ago last August.
