Gordonville – Funeral services were held this afternoon for Mrs. Anna Eggimann at the Zion Lutheran Church, south of Gordonville, by the Rev. G. B. Seboldt. Burial was in the church cemetery with McCombs Funeral Home of Jackson, in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Eggimann of Gordonville, 92 years old, died at the home of her son, Walter Eggimann, Chaffee Route 2, Saturday.
Mrs. Eggimann was born in Cape Girardeau, Jan. 14, 1875, and her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mueller. She was married to H. F. Eggimann, who died Dec. 29, 1949.
Mrs. Eggimann was a lifelong member of the Zion Lutheran Church and a charter member of its Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving are three sons: Walter Eggimann, Clarence Eggimann, Advance, and Lewis Eggimann,Gordonville; three daughters Mrs. Walter Bodenstein, Gordonville, Mrs. Pauline Hartle, Jackson, and Mrs. Clarence Saupe, Pocahontas; two brothers, Otto Miller, Jackson, and Wm. Miller, Chaffee; two sisters, Mrs. Pete Snell, McClure, Ill., and Mrs. Fritz Springer, Jackson; 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were grandsons, Jerry Eggimann, Weldon Eggimann, Delmar Eggimann, Vernon Eggimann, Earl Saupe and Orville Fluegge.
