LEFORS - Bill Easter, 74, died Thursday, Dec. 21, 1995 in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel in Pampa with the Rev. Jim Easter, an Assembly of God minister, and the Rev. R. Scott Barton, pastor Calvary Assembly of God in Pampa, officiating.

Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger. Burial will be by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

A native of Miami, Texas, he had been a Lefors resident for about a year. He lived in White Deer for 25 years, and was a former Borger resident. He owned W.D. Motor Company in White Deer. He was a member of Calvary Assembly of God in Pampa.

He married Melba Presley on Dec. 10, 1994.

He was preceded in death by a son, Donny Easter in 1952.

Survivors include his wife; a son, William N. "Butch" Easter of Amarillo; a daughter, Peggy Burris of Vernal, Utah; two stepdaughters, LaJuan Fowler of Hereford; and Johnnie Rogers of Pampa; three stepsons, Donnie Presley of Little Rock, Ark.; Harold Wayne Presley of Leavenworth, Ind.; and Kenneth Presley of Houston; a brother, Johnny Easter of Palestine; four sisters, Margie Barnett of Tucumcari, N.M.; Irene Hooks of Borger; Billie Watkins of Paradise, Calif.; and Revena Johnson of Hollis, Okla.; and eight grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Teen Challenge of Amarillo, or Hospice of the Panhandle.
