The 1900 US census has their marriage date as 1877. Peter is listed with his mother , wife, his two children and his siblings in the 1880 US census in Sanpete County, Utah. His mother was married to Jehu Cox at the time of the census, though they did not live together. I am not sure what happened to the marriage of his mother and father, because his father was still living, and his mother was listed as a Cox in the census. The parents were married in Denmark. I have a copy of their marriage entry in the church records.
