Mr. Butler was born June 18, 1919, in Woodston. He was a construction worker.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; and a daughter, Ruth Arlene.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Buster of McPherson; a grandchild; a great-grandchild; two step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Swedish Lutheran Cemetery near Webber.
