We are called upon to chronicle the death of Mr. Thomas G. Lang, an old and highly respected citizen of this vicinity, which took place at his residence near Hutchison's Ferry on last Friday, March 25th. Mr. Lang was a member of the Primitive Baptist church for many years. Our county in the death of Mr. Lang has sustained a great loss; his family a kind hearted father; his church to which he belonged a strong supporter. His remains were interred in the family cemetery near the side of his three wives, who preceded him to that land where there is no night, but where the christian sun no more goes down, where the wicked cease to trouble and the weary are at rest. One by one we are gathering home, sweet home, our sweet home above.
