Mrs. Breithaupt, 92, of Rhinehart, Louisiana passed away at her residence Friday, August 28, 2009. She was born to the union of John and Addie (Richardson) Alexander on January 7, 1917.
She was a housewife and the oldest living member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Services were held at 11:00 AM Sunday, August 30, 2009 in the Oak Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Wagoner officiating. Mrs. Vera was laid to rest in the Alexander Cemetery of Rhinehart, under the direction of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.
She is survived by three sons; Lee Breitahupt, Jr. and wife Lanell of Alexandria, John Breithaupt and wife Shirley and David Breithaupt and wife Julia both of Rhinehart. two daughters; Mildred McGuffee and husband Wayne of Jena and Diane Cader and husband James of Rhinehart; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Breitahupt was preceded in death by her husband Lee, Sr., parents John and Addie, and a grandson Eric Breithaupt.
Pallbearers were Rick McGuffee, Kenny McGuffee, Brian Cader, Brent Cader, Tracie Breithaupt, Chris Breithaupt, and Davey Breithaupt.
