Tulia – Stanley Cobb, 72, died Wednesday, Jan 26, 1994

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in the Claude Cemetery at Claude with the Rev. Andy Blair and the Rev. Janell Blair of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle in Amarillo.

Mr. Cobb was born in Briscoe County and lived there most of his life. He graduated from Tulia High School. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, serving in the Philippines and Australia. He worked as a farmer and rancher for many years. He was a member of the Tulia First Presbyterian Church. Mr. Cobb was preceded in death by his wife, Ema Gene Zachry Cobb in 1985.

Survivors include three daughters, Janey Cobb of Amarillo, Carol Bedford of Muldrow, Okla., and Stanna Nelson of Claude; a sister, Esther Reeves of Tulia; and a grandchild.
