Saturday Rites Set for Mrs. Wagner

Vienna (Special) - Mrs. Nora Elizabeth Wagner, 85, a member of the Vienna Methodist Church for 70 years, died Wednesday at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. Mrs. Wagner, who made her home for several years with a daughter, Mrs Frank Stratman, 1124 E. High St., Jefferson City, was born Jan. 5, 1871, in Illinois, the daughter of Frank (this was an error as she was the daughter of Charles Test) and Rose Morrow Test. She married Alfred Wagner in February, 1891, and he died in May 1944. Mrs. Wagner formerly lived on a farm near Vienna before moving to Jefferson City. Survivors in addition to Mrs Frank Stratman are three other daughters, Mrs Joseph Stratman and Mrs Ellis Crum, both of Vienna; and Mrs Curtis Crider, Fish Hook, Illinois; two sons, Clarence Wagner, Vienna, and Leo Wagner, Fish Hook, Illinois; and a sister, Mrs Minnie Johnson, Fish Hook, Il. Also surviving are 46 grandchildren and 73 great-grandchildren. Three sons and one daughter preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday at Rader Methodist Church in Vienna. The Rev. Travis John, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
