Eva G. Ernsberger, 78, of 720 S. Main St., Kendalville, died at 4:00 am Thursday at her residence. A resident of Kendalville since 1945, she was born in Lagrange County on March 26, 1904 to Allen and Minnie (Walter) Hart. On October 22, 1923, she married Theodore W. Ernsberger, who proceeded her in death January 25, 1953. They were married in Lagrange. Mrs. Ernsberger was a dietician and cook and had been employed at the Kendalville Nutrition Site the past seven years. She was a member of the Mitchell Street United Methodist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Dorothy) Windle of Kendalville and Mrs. Charles (Wava) Schindler of Howe; a son Wilber Ernsberger of Route 2, Kendalville; three sisters, Mae Kammerer and June Swartz both of Kendalville, and Vemba Myers of Wolcottville; a brother Ernest Hart of Kendalville; 10 grandchildren and 16 gr-grandchildren. A sister and three brothers proceeded her in death. Services will be at 3:30 pm Thursday at the Berhalter-Hutchins Funeral Home, Kendalville, with Rev. William W. Kaiser officiating.
