Funeral services for Mr. W. E. Worsham, 88, of Florien, were held Monday, Sept. 6, at 3 p.m., at the Florien First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Joe Shaver officiating. Burial was in the Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mr. Worsham died in Many, Sept. 4, at 9:40 a.m., after an extended illness.

Surviving relatives are one son, Marshall E. [sic L.] Worsham of Houston, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Rose W. Pilcher of Baton Rouge; one brother, Phillip Worsham of Coushatta; one sister, Mrs. Florence Stewart of Many, and one grandchild.

Pallbearers were Newt Dalton, Jack Canterbury, Clifton Davis, Charles Arthur, Grover Dowden, and Lee Jordan.
