Melody Ann Damon, 58, of Wooster, died Thursday, Feb. 2, 2006, at Akron General Hospital.

Services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Roberts Funeral Home, Sherwood Chapel, in Wooster, with Bishop Jerry Parsons officiating. Inurnment will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.

There will be no calling hours. Cremation will be by Remembrance Cremation Center.

She was born June 6, 1947, in Zanesville, to John and Ann (Kussmaull) Kokensparger. She married Wayne Damon on July 19, 1969. He survives.

She was a homemaker and a member of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Wooster. She enjoyed time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Debra McGlade of Zanesville, Thomas Damon of Wooster and Robin Latka of Smithville; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her mother, of Medina, and a brother, John Kokensparger of Brunswick.

Her father and a sister, Debbie Kokensparger, died previously.
