Ervin Clarence Andreae, 50, of N1311 German Settlement Road, Ogema, Town of Spirit, died on April 27, 1994 at St. Luke's Hospital in Solon, OH.

Ervin was born on February 1, 1944 to Clarence E and Clara M. Schliepp Andreae on the Andreae Family Homestead in the Town of Spirit. He married Kathleen Waszkiewicz on January 4, 1962 in Oxford.

Ervin was born and raised in the Town of Spirit, attended the former Liberty Grade School in the Town of Spirit and was a 1962 graduate of Rib Lake High School. From 1962 to 1967 he served in the US Army with tours of duty in Germany and stateside, then lived in Wisconsin Rapids for ten years. Ervin returned to the Town of Spirit and worked as a truck driver for Weather Shield MFG of Medford for 14 years then for ITC in Merrill for the past four years.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in the Town of Spirit, the Spirit American Legion Post, and a lifetime member of the D.A.V.

Ervin is survived by his Kathleen, two daughters, Susan (Gary) Hollar, Hudson, and Lisa Jaecks, Thorp; a son Robert Andreae, St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Marvin Andreae and Arthur (Shirley) Andreae, both of Ogema; two sisters, Lorraine McDougal, Montello and Rose Marie Andreae, Phillips; two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Darlene Gojmerac.

Funeral services were held on Monday morning, May 2, 1994 at Zion Lutheran Church in the Town of Spirit. Pastor John Meyer officiated and burial with full military graveside rites by the Spirit American Legion Post was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Town of Spirit. The Dallman Funeral Home in Rib Lake was in charge of the arrangements.
