Orangeburg - Sarah Kathryn Rickenbaker, 84, a retired grocery store owner-operator, died Tuesday in a local hospital. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Northside Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Thompson Funeral Home, will be in Bowman Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Rickenbaker was born in Barnwell, a daughter of Angus Hutto and Versa M. Morris Hutto. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was the widow of Aiken C. Rickenbaker. Surviving are two daughters, Betty Edgemon of Orangeburg and Sarah E. Collins of Olar; a son, Robert L. Collins of Colleen, Texas; a stepdaughter, Lenora Hamer of Florence; two sisters, Ruby Gibson of North Charleston and Irene Gibson of Anchorage, Alaska; a brother, Eugene Hutto of North Charleston; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
