MOULTON -- Funeral for Ila Wilburn, 94, of Danville will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home with Kyle McWhorter and Amos Hood officiating.

Burial will be in Alexander and Welborn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Wilburn died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Hendrix Nursing Home in Double Springs. She was born Sept. 1, 1905, in Lawrence County to George Curtis and Mary Elean Sparks Curtis. She was raised by her father and stepmother, Mary Ellen Parker Curtis. She was homemaker and a lifetime member of Aldridge Grove Church of Christ.

She is survived by two sons, Curtis Wilburn of Danville and Cadle Wilburn of Moulton; one brother, Jim Curtis of Hartselle; two sisters, Ethel Smith and Grace Vinson, both of Hartselle; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Mike Wilburn, Pascal Wilburn, Brad Thrasher, Casey Reed, Nikki Reno and Chris Wilburn.
