"OGDEN ~ Paul H. Taylor passed away on Monday, March 6, 2006 at his home.
Paul was born on June 10, 1921 in Salt Lake City to James and Vera (Pendleton) Taylor.
On March 14, 1946 he married Ethel Reeder in Brigham City, Box Elder, UT., by John P. Lillywhite, with witnesses; S. Hulmstron and Elaine R. Layton. [Source: FHL US/AN (Film 480314) Book 7, #1794 Their marriage was solemnized in 1956 in the Logan Temple. She preceded him in death on Oct. 20, 2005.
Paul graduated from Ogden High School and Stevens-Heneger College. He played American Legion Baseball. Paul served his country in the Marine Corps in World War II in the Pacific Theater.
Paul worked as a candy maker for Shupe-Williams. He retired from Bradley Corp.
He served the children of Hillcrest Elementary as their crossing guard for 24 years.
Paul was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a ward clerk for 38 years.
Paul is survived by his two children ...; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a sister, Virginia Allee of Ogden.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Rockcliff 7th Ward; 300 Gramercy in Ogden with Bishop Steve Billings conducting.
Friends and family may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at Aaron's Mortuary & Crematory, 1600 Washington Blvd., and an hour prior to the service at the ward. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park."
