Fred O. Darst
Fred O. Darst, 55, of Tucson, Ariz., died in a veterans hospital there last Saturday. A former resident of Uniontown, where he was employed by the West Penn System, he moved to Tucson due to ill health. Mr. Darst was a veteran of World War I. He was born at Waverly, Ohio, February 27, 1900.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Anna Baughman Darst; two daughters, Mrs. Clair (Mabel) Hadden of Connellsville, and Mrs. John (Genevieve) Janosik of Phoenix, Ariz.; a son, David at home; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Landers of Taylorsville, Ill., Mrs. Robert (Myrtle) Ward of Columbus, Ohio, and Emma Darst of Philadelphia, and four grandchildren. A son, Lester, died in 1944.
