Funeral rites for Mrs. Ella Moore, who died Wednesday morning will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lamb's Chapel. The Rev. M. G. Long will officiate. Burial will be made at the Lamb's Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Moore, who was 64 years old, was born in Peoria, Ill. on March 9, 1860. She lived here most of her life, coming to LaPorte from Peoria when a child. She became the wife of Harry Moore of LaPorte County in 1886. He passed away on Nov. 12, 1899. She leaves one son, Guy Moore of LaPorte; two daughters, Ada Moore of LaPorte and Lura Johnson of Pitt, Minn.; one stepson, Garry Moore of LaPorte; two grandchildren; two sisters, Leah Fail of Chicago and Etta Carpenter of Albany, N.Y.; two brothers, George Towers of LaPorte and Charles Towers of Chicago; and two half sisters, Emma Towers and Fannie G. Piest, both of LaPorte. The remains may be viewed at the E. E. Ebbert Chapel.
