Pingree
Scott Reed Hansen, 7-year-old son of Bobby and Mary Ann Hansen of Pingree, died Saturday, Aug.5, 2000 at his home when he accidentally got caught in the conveyor belt of a potato truck.
He was born Nov. 18, 1992 in Blackfoot, the son of Bobby Dale and Mary Ann Reed Hansen.
He had lived in Pingree his entire life and had just completed first grade at Pingree Elementary.
He was a member of the LDS Church and was looking forward to being baptized this fall.
Scott was very full of life and a very happy young man. He enjoyed building with his Legos, riding his bike, going camping and loved to play soccer. He was all boy and loved to play with tractors and enjoyed dogs, cats, and horses and also loved his dad's semi trucks and traveling in them with his dad.
Survivors include his parents of Pingree; his brothers and sisters, Dustin (21), Krista (19), Jamie (18), Juliette (12) and Kaylee (3); grandparents, Duane H. and Barbara Hansen of Riverside, Robert D. and Marian Reed of Rockford and great grandmother Edith L. Reed of Thomas.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000 at the Pingree LDS Church with Bishop Russell Hammond of the Pingree 2nd Ward Conducting. The family will meet with friends on Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Hawker, Hill, Sandberg Funeral Home and again on Wednesday at the church from 10-10:45 a.m.
Interment will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
