Born June 17, 1943, in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late Leroy Moore and the late Florence Hill Moore.
Mrs. Crosby was a retired tax preparer from Walker Accounting and Tax Service in Walterboro.
She was a longtime member of First Christian Church in Walterboro where she was formerly active in the Ladies Circle.
Nell will be remembered for her love of camping at the Santee Lake as well as her avid attendance to her grandchildren's ball games always being their biggest fan.
She was the wife of the late Mr. Oscar Arthur Crosby, Jr. and surviving are: a daughter, Sharon Crosby Broach and husband Mark of Yemassee; and two sisters, Doris Hiers and Vennie Lyons both of Walterboro; three grandchildren, Ronnie Broach of Walterboro, Ryan Broach who is stationed on the Air Force Base in Japan, and Kimberly Broach of Yemassee; as well as her caretaker and friend, Darla Beach.
She was preceded in death by a son, Oscar Arthur "Artie" Crosby, III and a daughter, Lynn Crosby.
