Mrs. Malinda (Bricker) Shue, was born near Brodbeck's, Pa., January 20, 1862, and died June 27, 1936, aged 74 years, 5 months, and 7 days.
Mrs. Shue had been a patient sufferer for many months of a weakened heart condition.
She had spent all her life on the farm, and knew what it was to work early and late. She was a kind neighbor and friend. She was a member of the Stone Church and Sunday School for almost 60 years.
The funeral services were held from her late home on Tuesday morning, June 30, 1936, with brief services at the house and the concluding services at the Stone Church. The funeral text was Matt. 11:28. There was a large congregation of relatives, friends, and neighbors in attendance. Burial was made in the new cemetery.
