AGEE, Anna Peery, 94, of Blacksburg, died Wednesday, July 25, 2001 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Burkes Garden, Tazewell County, VA on July 20, 1907, to the late Albion Eugene & Margaret Anna Eve Foglesong Peery and was also preceded in death by her husband, Harbert Epperly Agee. She was a very active member of the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the D.A.R. and was very active in the earlier Garden Club and the Home Demonstration Club of Blacksburg. She was a former resident of Pembroke. She is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Abby J. & Charles Satchwell of Blacksburg; a son & daughter-in-law, Dean Peery & Sunny Martin Agee of Louisa; eight grandchildren, Jennifer A. Satchwell, Deanna Satchwell Tiller, Abby Satchwell Miller, Catherine A. Satchwell, Margaret B. Satchwell, Dean Peery Agee, Jr., Martin A. Agee, and John Eden Agee; seven great-grandchildren, Kathryn A. Agee, Jessica L. Agee, Anna Grace Agee, Owen Agee, Cale Agee, Celia Agee, and Sarah Elizabeth Tiller; three sisters-in-law, Annie Ellen Gardner, Judy Johenning, and Rosetta Wheeler; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 27, 2001 at 2 p.m. in the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gary Schroeder officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the church prior to the service. Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Prices Fork and Tom's Creek Roads, N.W. Blacksburg, VA 24060.
