Mrs. Aurel (McCUEN) HERSHBERGER CLARK, 82, R.R. 1, Summitville, former Argos resident, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Marion General hospital.
Born Jan. 11, 1892, in Mentone, she was the daughter of Bennie and Hattie JEFFERIES McCUEN. Her first marriage was Jan. 9, 1909, at Bourbon, to J. Arthur HERSHBERGER. He died in 1956. Her second marriage was to Harold R. CLARK in 1963. He survives. She had resided in Summitville 11 years, moving from Argos. She was a member of the Walnut Township Home Economics club and the Walnut Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Victor (Dortha) BINKLEY, Warsaw; Mrs. Johnnie (Harriet) WINTERROWD, R.R. 2, Argos; Mrs. Richard (Rose) LEWIS, Tiosa; two sons, Marvin F. HERSHBERGER, San Jose, Cal.; Carl HERSHBERGER, Duneden, Fla.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Virginia CHRISTIE, Fort Wayne, and Mrs. James (Mary) MURDOCK, Anderson; two step-sons, Howard W. CLARK, Summitville, and the Rev. Jean E. CLARK, Marion; nineteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Donald (Olive) POULSON, Etna Green.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Hunt funeral home in Fairmount where friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday. The remains will then be brought to the Grossman funeral home in Argos where friends may call after 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Final rites will be conducted in the Walnut church of the Brethren at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. T.D. CLARK will officiate at both services. Burial will be in the Walnut Church of the Brethren cemetery.
