Services Set For Garber Farm Accident Victim

Garber -- Services for Fred B. Thein, 64, who died Monday at Delaware County Memorial Hospital, Manchester, of injuries suffered May 12 in a tractor accident on his farm, were Wednesday afternoon at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church here, with the Rev. G.E. Hesse officiating. Burial was in the Guttenberg Cemetery.

Mr. Thein was born Jan. 14, 1889, in Elk Township, Clayton County. He farmed most of his life near Garber.

Survivors are his wife; four sons, Lester, of Elkport, Melvin of Guttenberg, August, of Garber, and Frederick of Marion; three daughters, Mrs. Nelda Willie, of Garber, Mrs. Bernice Wold, of St. Olaf, and Mrs. Bernita Brady, of Cedar Rapids; two brothers, Peter, of Elkader, and Joseph, of Strawberry Point, and two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Winch and Mrs. Arthur Jennings, both of Garber.
