Death - Mrs. Anne Lois Bacon Davis 80, died at 7:45 PM last night at her residence at 616 Kennisington Ave of causes incident to age. The daughter of William and Rebeca Lock (Bailey) Bacon, she was born in Keokuk, Iowa, June 18, 1862.

A resident of Salt Lake since 1877, Mrs. Davis has been a worker in the Temple and a member of the Relief Society in the Center, Seventeenth and Waterloo Wards.

She was the widow of Albert Westley Davis, who died in 1928.

She is survived by a son, Wilford Alvin Davis; three daughters, Mrs. Anne Davis Miller, Miss Lois Davis, Mrs. Olive Davis Dixon; a sister, Miss Sarah Mary Bacon, and 12 grandchildren, all of Salt Lake. Funeral services are to be announced later. Deseret News Thursday, December 24, 1942.

DEATH ANNOUNCEMENTS: Anne Lois Bacon Davis, 80, widow of Albert Westley Davis, died at her home 616 Kensington Avenue. Wednesday at 7:45 p.m. of aliments incident to age.

Mrs Davis was born in Keokuk, Iowa, June 18, 1862, and came to Salt Lake City in 1877. She was a member of the LDS church and for 40 years was a teacher for the Relief Society of the Center LDS Ward. She also was a temple worker and had resided in the Seventeenth and Waterloo LDS wards. Her husband died in 1928.

Surviving are a son. Wilford Alvin Davis; three daughters, Mrs. Anne Davis Miller (David Miller), Miss Lois Davis, and Mrs. Olive Davis Dixon (Leonard F. Dixon) all of Salt Lake City; 12 grandchildren and a sister, Miss Sarah Mary Bacon of Salt Lake City.

DAVIS - Funeral services for Anne Lois Bacon Davis of 616 Kensington Avenue will be held Saturday at 1: pm in the Rose Room, 36 East Seventh South Street, with Bishop Albert E. Asmith officiating.

Friends may call at 36 East Seventh South Street until Friday evening and at the residence, 616 Kensington Avenue. Saturday from 9 to 11 AM and at the mortuary until time of services. Funeral directors. Deseret Mortuary.
