Mrs. A, W. Wetsel Dies At Hospital - Mrs. Nina Gertrude Wetsel, widow of Arnold W. Wetsel, and a well-known resident of Harrisonburg, died at 6:30 p. m. Sunday at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Wetsel had not enjoyed good health for two years, A daughter of the late Edward A. and Georgia Clayville Brewington, she was born in Salisbury, Maryland. Following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Wetsel made their home in Harrisonburg and later in New York City. They returned to Harrisonburg in 1946 where they have since made their home. Mr. Wetsel was co-founder of the Wetsel Seed Co. and was associated with this organization for many years. In later years he devoted his time as a business consultant. Mrs. Wetsel was a member of the Harrisonburg Presbyterian Church; The American Legion Auxiliary; and the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Wetsel is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Eugene A. Myers, of Croton-on-Hudson, New York; three grandchildren; one brother, Glen A. Brewington, of New York City; and two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Ludwig, of Keyser, W. Va., and Miss Virginia C. Brewington, who has made her home with Mrs. Wetsel for a number of years. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 Tuesday from the Harrisonburg Presbyterian Church with her pastor, the Rev. L. Randolph Harrison officiating assisted by the Rev. Robert L. Bridges. Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery. The body is at the Lindsey Funeral Home but will be taken to the church, at 2:30 Tuesday. Relatives will meet at her late home, 106 Franklin Street, at 1:45 Tuesday for a brief service prior to leaving for the church. (Daily News-Record, Harrisonburg, VA, Tuesday, October 23, 1961)

Randolph Harrison in charge of the services, assisted by the Rev. Robert L. Bridgers. Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery. The body now rests at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home where it will remain until 2:30 p. m. today. Relatives will meet at her late home, 106 Franklin St., at 3:15 for a brief service.
