Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Barbara(Koppenhaver) Adams and 2 Daughters, Kathy Garner of Port Charlotte, Florida and Beth Anne Stuppy of Lykens; 2 Sons, Tim Adams of Wiconisco and Tracey Adams of Pillow, their spouses; 6 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Scott David, 1 brother, Gary and 2 sisters, Phyllis and Janet.
He was a retired trucker from HM Felty Inc., PineGrove. He graduated from the Porter Township school and was a member of the Williamstown American Legion, the Wiconisco Fire House and a life member of the Gratz V.F.W.. Gene was a U.S. Army veteran of W. W. II, serving with General Patton's 3rd Army in the European theatre. He was a veteran of the Invasion of Normandy, entered Cherbourg France on his 18th birthday, fought for the liberation of Paris, was in the Battle of the Bulge, and fought against one of "Hitler's last strongholds" in Aachen, Germany.
Nick will be sadly missed by family and friends. Memorial Services will be held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes, Inc., Elizabethville Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 11:00 A.M.. Military Honors will conclude the services. Inurnment at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received 10-11 A.M., Thursday, March 20 the funeral home.~ ♥ڿڰۣಌ
