PFC Robert was in the Army; First Cavalry Division A. P. Platoon station at Camp McNair, Japan. On Sunday morning November 6, 1949 he was last seen riding on horseback on the slopes of Mt Fujiyama. The letter on this memorial page tells the rest of the story.

I found this information on a website and entered on FAG with a possibility a family member would claim it so he will not be forgotten.

1940 US Census shows a sister and brother (twins) name Paul R. Bartoo and Pauline J. Bartoo age 9.
