Irene (Gann) Luttrull , daughter of Eveald Gann and Lucy Johnson, was born on June 10, 1932, and quietly passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2008, Irene Married Dean Luttrull on August 10, 1949.
they had five children and enjoyed 28 years of marriage before Dean passed away on April 29, 1978. Irene was a lifelong resident of Sparta and graduated from Sparta High School in 1952. She later began working at Fasco and after 31 years of employment she retired in 1997. Since retirement Irene found a new passion, genealogy. She loved researching , exploring and working on all aspects of genealogy. She even wrote and published a book titled Obituaries of Christian County Missouri and was in the process of writing her second book. Irene was also an avid gardener, enjoyed canning and mushroom hunting.
Irene was preceded in death by her infant son Wesley, parents and husband Dean Luttrull.
Irene is survived by her four children and their spouses, Gary & Bonnie Luttrull of Warsaw, Susan and Dwayne Brown of Lampe, Peggy and Tim Plumlee of Springfield, and Tracey and Jeff Johns of Rogersville. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, Danyel Rickard, Michael Luttrull, Melissa Lowry, Matthew and Kyle Plumlee , and Stephen and Clayton Johns and her one great grandaughter Izabella Rickard. Irene also has one sister Rosalie Carey, several nieces, nephews , caring friends and neighbors.
