Harold A. Kregulka, 96, formerly of Neapolis, died Sunday morning, August 2, 2009, at The Lutheran Home, Napoleon.

Born June 13, 1913, in Toledo to the late Michael and Wanda (Ciesielska) Kregulka, he married Angela Josephine Kapela on June 5, 1937. She preceded him in death on February 1, 2004.

One sister, Lottie Koppleman, also preceded him in death.

Mr. Kregulka was a baker for many years at Balduff Bakery in Maumee. He also worked as a cook with the CCC in Mackinaw Island.

A member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Grand Rapids, Harold enjoyed collecting semi-precious stones.

Surviving are daughters, Evelyn Westfall, Cincinnati and Kathy (Jim) Westfall, Liberty Center; sons, John (Sue) Kregulka, Temperance, MI and Kevin (Teresa) Kregulka, Napoleon; 15 grandchildren; 24 great- grandchildren; 5 great-great- grandchildren and sister, Beatrice Briskey, Lambertville, MI.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 5, 2009, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 14010 U.S. 24, Grand Rapids, with the Rev. David Tscherne presiding. Committal rites and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will begin Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. and conclude with recitation of the Rosary at 8:30 p.m. in the Wright-Hobbs Funeral Home, Grand Rapids.
