Mrs. Witte was an optician and office manager for Dr. Robert T. Allen in Richmond, Indiana. She was a member of Holy Family Parish, the Ladies' Society and, in Richmond, Indiana, St. Ann's Altar Society.
Mrs. Witte is survived by her husband, Raymond E. Witte; sons, Charles "Tim" Brokamp and Thomas A. (Corliss) Brokamp; stepsons, Raymond F. (Darlene) Witte, David J. (Peg) Witte and Michael J. (Sharon) Witte; stepdaughters, Teresa (Gene) Allen and Donna (Dan) Murphy; 2 grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and 14 step great grandchildren.
Mrs. Witte was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ralph and Paul Geier and sisters Virginia Backous and Dorothy Hospes.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 10:00 am at Holy Family Parish - St. John's Church, 1405 First Avenue, Middletown with Father John Civille as celebrant. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jul. 29, 2009 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd., Middletown, OH. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery.
