Addie Lou Hart Gunnels, age 85 of Lenoir City, passed away Sunday morning, March 23, 2008, at the Park West Medical Center.

Lou was a member of First Baptist Church in Lenoir City and was a retired secretary from Oak Ridge National Lab.

Preceded in death by her husband, Grant C. Gunnels and her parents, Sam and Adelia Crow Hart.

Lou is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Vicki Gunnels of Greenback; grandsons, Cory and Brett Gunnels both of Greenback; sisters, Helen Atchley of Lenoir City, Sue Prestwood of Oak Ridge; brother, Jimmy Hart of Lenoir City; nieces, Becky, Tracy and Kathy; nephew, Dan along with several great nieces and great nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday followed by funeral services at 7 p.m. in the Click Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Dick DeMerchant and Dr. C. E. Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund. Family and friends will gather by 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Click Funeral Home and proceed to the Loudon County Memorial Gardens for an 11 a.m. graveside service. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is serving the Gunnels family.
