The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Wetzel Funeral Home, 549 Carlisle St., Hanover. Burial will be in Marburg Memorial Gardens in Hanover. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Angell was born Jan. 29, 1908, in Taneytown, Md. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Charles E. and Elizabeth S. (Reindollar) Roop.
She was a licensed practical nurse for The Brethren Home Community, retiring in 1972 after 13 years of service. She was a member of Zwingli United Church of Christ in East Berlin.
Mrs. Angell is survived by two sons, David R. Angell of York and Terry C. Angell of Gettysburg; a daughter, Helen M. Wallen of Fayetteville; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Angell was preceded in death by a son, Thomas D. Meldrum.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Peter N. Robinson.
