He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and the Korean War. Additionally, Vincent was a gold card member of the VFW in Rutherford and the American Legion in North Arlington. Beloved husband to Helen K. (nee Whalen). Devoted father to Vincent J. Maranilli and his wife Dolores, and James J. Maranilli. Loving brother to Gloria Bergadano and her son William. Cherished grandfather to Dianna, Lisa, John, Valerie, James, Daniel, and Michael. Adored great-grandfather to Aydan. Funeral from the Macagna-Diffily-Onorato Funeral Home, 41 Ames Avenue, Rutherford, NJ on Friday August 28, 2009 at 9:15 am, thence to Sacred Heart RC Church, Lyndhurst, where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ. Visiting hours Wednesday 7-9pm and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9pm.
