Former Havensville Resident Succumbs at St. Marys
William F. Blaske, 87, passed away last Saturday, March 30, at the Hillside Nursing Home in St. Marys.
He was a barber by trade, having retired at he age of 72. After his retirement he made his home with his daughter. Mrs. Russell Ellis, of Havensville.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Minnie Ellis, one grandchild, R. Meta Ellis, one sister, Mrs. Lena Speer, all of Havensville, one brother, Theodore Blaske, of Leonardville, two half-brothers and two-half sisters.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. William E. Hurtig at Tessendorf's Funeral Chapel, Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p. m. Burial was in the Havensville cemetery.

William and Bertha had a daughter, Lillian, born Oct. 3, 1895. Lillian was later adopted by her stepfather John Altepeter.

Wilhelmine Meta Katharine Blaske was born March 12, 1910.
