He married, about 1750, Margaret Belden, the daughter of Joseph Belding and Margaret Gillette Belding of Whately,MA. She married, second, Eleazer Frary on Dec 17,1788.

Children: Ebenezer Scott, Joel Scott, Margaret Scott Blodgett, Joseph Scott III, Gad Scott, Lucius Scott, Abraham Scott, Hepzibah Scott, Isaac Scott, Lydia Leonard Scott, Submit Scott, and Israel Scott.
