He was a son of Thomas & Sarah Castleberry McGinty. Married twice: 1835 Wilkinson Co., GA to Martha Davidson and 31 Jan 1877 to (Mrs) Laura V. Lacature in Ashley Co, AR. She shows as a widow in the 1880 census of Ashley Co., AR indicating that W.J. was already dead by then. This death date issue is still unresolved.
This new gravestone replaced the original upright marker.
